MUSICAL IN A WEEK

WHAT IS "MUSICAL IN A WEEK":
Take a group of excited and passionate kids, an enthusiastic, caring and well-trained production team, a script, vocal score, and ONE WEEK of pure fun, engagement, work, rehearsing, team building activities, friendships, growth, developing skills, singing, dancing, acting, character development and performing and you have ‘Musical in a Week’. The fun bit is – the Musical will be a complete mystery until 2 weeks before the program starts, so the kids will get a surprise of their life!
On Day 1, performers will gather for a meet and greet, audition workshop and casting process, read through of the script. It will be (organised) chaos as we proceed to put together the whole show over 6 days- with the full production ready to perform and share with family and friends on the Saturday Night!

Age: All applicants must be between the age of 10 and 18 years old.

Saturday 3rd October 9am – 5.30pm (Auditions for Principal Roles & Beginning)
Sunday 4th October 9am – 5.30pm (Rehearsal)
Monday 5th October 9am-5.30pm (Rehearsal)
Tuesday 6th October 9am – 5.30pm (Rehearsal)
Wednesday 7th October - 9am – 5.30pm (Rehearsal)
Thursday 8th October - 9am – 5.30pm (Rehearsal)
Friday 9th October - 9am – 5.30pm (Rehearsal)
Saturday 12th October 9am – 8.00pm (Rehearsal + 2 Performances)
STANDARD PRICE- $300
STUDENTS ENROLLED WITH NAIDU PERFORMING ARTS/WOOLGOOLGA PERFORMING ARTS STUDIO - $275
PRICE INCLUDES: Production AND Costume fees, a copy of the show's original script, AND 2 Guest Passes to be used between the 2 shows on Saturday October 10th, link to view the filmed performance.
(PLEASE NOTE): 100% ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.
