Director of Voice
Billie-Jo Dukes
Billie-Jo is our incredibly talented Director Of Voice here at the WPAS Music Studio. She brings the values of our studio into each and every one of her classes.
Vocally preparing students for auditions, shows and the HSC are all natural abilities for Billie-Jo. She works well with beginning students and well trained performers.

Mitch Burgess
Mitch is an enthusiastic teacher and student of music. He has dedicated his life to his craft and teaches/gigs full time.
Completing his Bachelor of Music through UNE and continuing ongoing studies of music proves his ever growing interest and ability to guide other musicians young and old.
At WPAS Mitch teaches guitar and piano as well as the guitar ensemble.

Singing teacher
Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland is a phenomenal teacher to her students. Sarah has a range of talented students to which she shares her techniques and skills with. Sarah is part of the IVTOM (International Voice Teaches of Mix) community teaching MIX to all her students with the confidence that what she teachers works to create powerful strong balanced vocals.
Sarah has released her own music which has been praised around the world, she’s part of her own band which has performed at the Taj Mahal Palace!

Drum teacher
Nick Townsend
Nick has been playing drums since he was 15. Starting off in the school band and getting involved in local bands after school. Played Blues, Pop, Folk rock and Metal/Thrash. Nick ran a musicians website called Musomatch.com.au, now no longer available, He ran Open Mic nights at Attitude burgers in the coffs marina for 9 years - many musos were matched! He will bring an energetic approach to helping others learn, looking outside the box and improvising to nurture talent from energetic kids.

Singing Teacher
Rebecca Riches
Rebecca Riches is in her third year as a vocal coach at WPAS, bringing her rich background in musical theatre alongside formal training in opera and classical voice. With a strong foundation in technique and a genuine love for performance, she creates a supportive and engaging learning environment for her students. Rebecca is passionate about helping individuals find confidence in their voice and believes that the joy of singing is something everyone can experience no matter their age or stage.
