MOVEMENT PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

The Movement Performance Program is an outlet for talented performers and helps students develop self-confidence and self-esteem, along with promoting discipline, time management and teamwork. It is an extra BLOCK for students wanting to be extended in their dance techniques in the styles of Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Tap etc. When enrolled in this Program, students get to experience the excitement, thrills, applause and rewards of being a performer. These classes are for students who want to participate more regularly in performances throughout the year. Students audition annually to gain their place in the performance team, and devote their spare time to rehearsals, training and performances in the commercial entertainment industry. Many of the students in the team may consider a career in the entertainment industry as one of their options for future employment.

Being part of the Movement performance program is a great opportunity to improve skills as an individual and to belong to a team. Students will challenge themselves and train at a higher level, which will enable them to showcase their skills through performances . Our Movement Performance PROGRAM membership requires commitment, passion, and enthusiasm to improve! Each week students train with their team and will perform & compete throughout the year.

Audition (placement) classes will allow us to assess your level and find the best place for students to grow as a dancer.

THEATRICAL TRAINING PROGRAM

This program is being merged with the Training & Opportunities offered by NAIDU Performing Arts Company. This program is designed to expose students to the art of theatre & stagecraft by working on plays & musicals in a professional theatre setting and encompass a well rounded and qualified education in theatre. Whether you are new to Performing Arts Training or wish to enhance your current skill set this program is designed to include all those passionate about Musical Theatre, Acting & Stagecraft!

Covering theatrical streams of Acting, Dancing, Singing, Music Theory, Stagecraft, Design, Lighting, Sound, Stage Management, Sets & Properties Design, Film, Photography. Students who participate in this program & our Acting classes will be coached to sit an Acting exam with the London Trinity College - we can offer training from Grade 1 - Diploma level in Acting & Musical Theatre. Some further opportunities to come from this program in the next 12 months are: Performing in a ‘Double Bill’ Musical Performance at the end of Semester 1 (last weekend of term in July,) sitting an Acting exam with the London Trinity College in August/September, performing in a full length musical show at the Jetty Theatre in December. Students who are in this program in this will also become a Company member in Naidu Performing Arts Company. They will receive head shots, and talent management in their fees as well as be considered for paid work offered by the Company and it’s Services. Students in this stream will also be offered opportunities to study Cert IV and Diploma of Musical Theatre (offered through the Australian Teachers of Dancing)

CLASSICAL TRAINING PROGRAM

We are so thrilled and delighted at the many young students who are highly passionate about Classical Ballet within the studio! We are excited to now offer the CPP stream for those who would like to develop and further their technique as well as work towards new opportunities and qualifications in this style.

As well as undertaking a beautifully choreographed Eisteddfod routine, students will receive personal coaching for classical ballet opportunities such as the Lucie Saranova Medals, Ballet Teachers Workshop Competition, Cecchetti Winter School Program, Cecchetti International Ballet Competition, NSW Scholar’s Program and more. Students who are in this program will also become a Company member of Naidu Performing Arts Company. They will receive head shots, and talent management in their fees as well as be considered for paid work offered by the Company and it’s Services. Students in this stream will also be offered opportunities to study the prestigious Enrico Cecchetti Diploma, Associate & Associate Diploma, Licentiate and Cert IV In Dance Teaching And Management. Students in this stream will also be considered for Fusion Dance Internships (an initiative by NAIDU Performing Arts Company) which is an International Dance Internship in Mumbai, India for Cecchetti dancers.
